DAILY CHALLENGE
Thomas is a fifty-five year old widower who lost his wife seven years before. After much pushing and prodding from his friends and family lately, Thomas has decided that it's time to try dating again. However, Thomas is extremely nervous about such a task and doesn't really know what he should do to prepare. What is some things he can do to get back into “dating shape?”

DAILY FIX
First, Thomas needs to begin with an exercise regimen to get in better physical shape. Even if he is fit as a fiddle (or seemingly so), exercise will help boost his confidence.
If Thomas has gray hair, it's time to break out the hair dye. To keep it from being a massively drastic change for him, Thomas needs to buy a formula that allows him to work it in progressively over several weeks. Also, he may want to get a type of hair dye that leaves some gray at the sides to reveal his true age while still making him more attractive.
Lastly, Thomas needs to recruit a couple of female friends to take him shopping. An entirely new wardrobe is not necessary, but three to five new outfits designed specifically for dating is a must for most formerly married men who are starting over.
After a few weeks of prepping, Thomas will be looking the part. The second he looks in the mirror he will feel younger but will most likely also feel like he is betraying his late wife. Thomas' friends and family need to comfort him and remind him that it is perfectly acceptable to move on and try to find happiness again. He is not betraying the woman he fell in love with, but simply trying to live his life again. This will be far more poignant if Thomas has a son or daughter that can reassure him.
After that, it's up to Thomas to find his groove again and work at finding a date. That is going to be something he has to do all on his own.
