The Sexual Power of Pumpkin Seeds
By: Letty LivingstonSexy little secrets about what's inside your Jack O'Lantern

As the length of each day ebbs, the sweltering temperatures surrender to a cooler climate, and the landscape transforms into autumn's dazzling displays of kaleidoscopic colors, we are organically mellowed in our essence and mood. Alas, are we to be left with no wind in our sails, no fire in our hearts, deficient of zeal for intrepid romantic endeavors? I must beg a resounding no! Sure, when spring is in the air we, as animals, react accordingly and are reinvigorated with a sexual verve. And when summer rolls around we are fueled for hot-blooded amorous encounters with the opposite sex. So, why come autumn does the fervor for fornicating have to fall as fast as the leaves from the mighty oak? It doesn’t.
This is the time of year when the markets are bursting with Indian corn, gourds, and pumpkins, it is the orange orb that has captured my attention. Yes, it makes for a festive seasonal decoration and it is yummy when prepared as a dessert, but did you know that the pumpkin holds hidden sexually stimulating powers?
Seeding the landscape for adventure!
Neurological studies performed by Alan Hirsch, MD, director of the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago, have revealed that the aroma of pumpkin pie is a sexual shot in the arm for both sexes. According to the data pumpkin seeds are in all actuality a tremendous source of zinc, which for men is crucial for potency.Zinc can be likened to a nutritional libido lifter. In a nutshell (pardon the pun), within the man’s body the peak concentration of zinc is in his prostate. Studies have shown that zinc fuels testosterone production, in turn, increasing his sperm supply. Zinc has also been attributed to prostate gland stimulation. This is a good thing, as the prostate is linked directly to erectile function. The one-two punch provided by pumpkin seeds can lead to enhanced male potency and increased sex drive.
And the aroma of a warm pumpkin pie has been shown to increase the physical triggers of sexual desire in both men and women. So when divorced from the energy-sapping effect of all that Thanksgiving turkey tryptophan, a serving of pumpkin pie can turn a three course dinner into a love potion for both sexes.
Reaping the rewards of the seeds you sow
Where does that leave us? Well, for me it means I will be stocking up on Kool-Whip® as I know I am going to have pumpkin pie on the menu a whole heck of a lot more regularly this season. And my man’s morning granola is going to have a little something extra in it as well; in hopes that I too can enjoy a little something extra. So go ahead and use the pumpkin as ammunition to fortify your artillery for love making this autumn, for as they say, love is war.
